Tending Your Garden

Purple Flowers

Each person is like a garden where God has planted special blessings.  While circumstances can bring sun and rain it is up to us to make sure the garden is properly tended.  We need to recognize we were born with a purpose destined to be fertile and called to be diligent caretakers.  Love enabled these talents to be embedded within us with the intentions that they would one day blossom and benefit others.

From the very beginning God has been there to guide and empower those who came before so that we would carry on this legacy.  Each generation has labored to make a difference so that we begin with loving examples of enduring strength.  Before we open our eyes for the first time we have been fertilized with a history of inspired heroics.  This soil impregnated with tender moments, challenging times and joyful celebrations has created our legacy and established our foundation plot.

We guard this fertile bed for the promise He has implanted in each of us.  He actively works to cultivate our garden, teaching us how to grow and recognize our sprouting gifts.  The world can be a daunting place where society does not always recognize the promise of greatness in the Master’s Plan.  So be mindful of these precious gifts because the world needs us to grow so that our talents can be harvested to make a difference.

Our life has never been solely just about us.  Love is too grand to be isolated to one individual.  God’s plan is far reaching where He expects us to carry blessings to a hurting people ready for love.  Through sun and rain we develop a more intimate appreciation for our budding gifts.  Use your faith to see beyond the dirt into the promises planted into your life.  Allow Him to show you how to bloom and the fruits of your efforts will create a new promise for gardens yet to be.
